La Laguna; Casa del verdugo.

Proseguimos nuestra incursion por territorio lagunero. Esta vez haremos referencia a un edificio que no se encuentra catalogado como el caso anterior. Este edificio de interés histórico monumental se encuentra en una calle contigua a las denominadas calles principales; La calle Anchieta. Se trata de La Casa del Verdugo el cual esta datado entre los siglos XVII al XVIII. Consta de 2 plantas y su accesibilidad es buena, no obstante se encuentra en la actualidad abandonado.

We continue our incursion in La Laguna . This time we will make reference to a building that is not listed as the previous case. This monumental historical building is located on a street adjacent to the main street called La Calle Anchieta. This is La Casa del Verdugo which is dated from the XVII to XVIII. Consists of 2 floors and its accessibility is good, but is now abandoned.

La Laguna; Iglesia/Catedral de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. (Catalogado)

El casco histórico de la laguna es conocido por albergar un grán número de edificios con marcado valor artístico y cultural. Al recorrer sus calles empedradas observaremos edificios los cuales estan siendo aprovechados y forman parte del itinerario de La Laguna, y nos encontraremos con otros cuyo explotación aun no se ha llevado a cabo. En las siguientes fotografías se muestran algunos ejemplos , tanto para los que estan siendo utilizados y para los que, por el contrario estan mayoritariamente en desuso. En la fotografía que se muestra a la izquierda se puede observar la Iglesia/Catedral de Nuestra Señora de los remedios, un edificio datado en los siglos XVII Y XVIII. Se encuentra emplazado en la calle J.Vera y forma parte de el repertorio de edificios que el ayuntamiento de la Laguna considera relevante destacar.

The historic center of La Laguna is known for hosting a large number of buildings with important cultural and artistic value. Walk cobblestone streets to see which buildings are being exploited and are part of the route of La Laguna, and we meet up with others whose operation is yet to be done. The following photos are examples, for both are being used and where, by contrast, are largely obsolete. In the photograph shown to the left you can see the Church / Cathedral of Our Virgen de Los Remedios, a building dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Is located in the J. Vera street and is part of the group of buildings that the council considers relevant to the Laguna highlight.
