Nuestras playas y parques

La web mediante el nombre de zonas recreativas, nos ofrece algunas muestras representativas de estos elementos. Estas van desde parques rurales y parques públicos hasta nuestras playas. Sin duda, es la playa de las Teresitas la cual más resalta entre todas las que aparecen, pero no podemos olvidar las numerosas playas de arena negra que configuran nuestro paisaje. No comprendo que significado tiene la inclusion del parque maritimo en la misma area que las playas puesto que a diferencia de las anteriores su naturaleza es artificial, y en cierto modo no se puede decir que sea eminentemente marítima. Por otra parte, considero acertada la mención de los parques de la Granja y García Sanabria respectivamente, aunque eché en falta la presencia del Párque Viera y Clavijo. De resto creo que en esta materia, la web se muestra bastante acertada en su tratamiento.

Recursos geológicos y arqueológicos

Existen recursos turísticos con variadas valoraciones. A lo largo de estos días hemos vistos recursos socioculturales tales como museos y galerías de arte. Es momento de hacer referencia a otros recursos, en esta ocasión con motivaciones geológicas y arqueológicas. La web del ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife destaca sobre todo roques, indicando el valor que estos tienen. Entre los que se mencionan se encuentran los siguientes:

• Roque de las Ánimas (Taganana).
  

• Roque de Aderno
  

• Roque del Caserío del Draguillo.
  

• Roques de Anaga.
  

• Playa levantada de Tachero.

En lo que respecta a los recursos arqueológicos, estos se localizan en su mayor medida en el Párque rural de Anaga, pero tambien se mencionan otros yacimientos los cuales son la Necrópolis de Roque de Tierra (Las Palmas de Anaga), la Necrópolis de La Calera (Las Mesas) y la Necrópolis de Los Auchones (El Chorro, Taganana). Otros lugares de gran relevancia arqueológica que han sido incluidos en la lista de Bienes de Interés Cultural patrimonio de la ciudad son el barranco del Muerto, el barranco del Pilar y zonas del barrio de La Gallega.

There are tourist resources with multiple values. Throughout these days we have seen social resources such as museums and art galleries. It is time to refer to other resources, this time with the geological and archaeological reasons. The website of the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on roques stresses, indicating the value they have. Among those mentioned are:

* Roque of the Animas (Taganana).

* Roque de Aderno

* Roque's Farmhouse Draguillo.

* Roques de Anaga.

* Lifted from Tacheros Beach.

With respect to archaeological resources, these are located in large measure in the Rural Park of Anaga, but also mentions other sites which are the Necropolis of Roque de Tierra (Palmas de Anaga), the necropolis of La Calera (Tables), and The Necropolis Auchones (El Chorro, Taganana). Other places of great archaeological significance have been listed as a Cultural Heritage Properties in the city are the barranco del Muerto, barranco del Pilar and the areas of La Gallega.

Teatros de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Teatro Pérez Minik.

Ponemos punto y final al repertorio de teatros, haciendo referencia al Teatro Pérez Minik. La web nos informa que está integrado en el Parque Cultural Viera y Clavijo y que en él se celebran exposiciones culturales, conferencias y cursos, así como obras teatrales y actos de diversa índole.

Put an end to the repertory theater with reference to the Teatro Pérez Minik. The website tells us that is integrated into the Park Cultural Viera y Clavijo and that it will hold cultural exhibitions, conferences and courses as well as plays and acts of various kinds.

Teatros de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Teatro Baudet.

A diferencia del teatro anterior, el Baudet ocupa un inmueble que encierra un importante legado historico (años treinta). Tal como explica la web, su inmediata rehabilitación (por esa razón la web no facilita fotografía) lo constituirá como un espacio cultural público. Por las palabras emitidas en la web, se deduce que se tienen grandes expectativas de futuro con este teatro y quién sabe si podría incluso desbancar al teatro Guimerá como teatro más emblemático del momento. Está ubicado en la avenida de General Mola y su autoría pertenece al arquitecto José Enrique Marrero Regalado, con quien colaboró también el alemán R. Schneider. Como curiosidad, la web menciona que aunque se concibió para teatro, en sus inicios funcionó sólamente como cine salvo en algunas contadas ocasiones en las que albergó alguna obra de teatro. Tras su cierre durante un corto espacio de tiempo, el inmueble funcionó como bingo hasta hace pocos años. Los arquitectos Juan Carlos Díaz-Llanos La-Roche y Fernando Beautell Stroud son los autores del proyecto definitivo de rehabilitación, que pretende recobrar el aspecto original del edificio.

Unlike the theater, the Baudet has a property that holds an important historical legacy (thirties). As the website explains, it will provide immediate rehabilitation (for this reason the website does not provide photo) as a cultural public space. Issued by the words on the web, it appears that there are great expectations for the future with this theater and who knows, might even unseat Guimerá theater as a theater of the most emblematic moment. Located on Avenida General Mola and his authorship belongs to the architect José Enrique Marrero Regalado, who also collaborated with the German R. Schneider. As a curiosity, but the website mentions that theater was designed in the early works only as a film except in some rare cases in which houses some play. Following its closure during a short space of time, the building functioned as a bingo until a few years ago. Architects Juan Carlos Diaz-Llanos Fernando La-Roche and Beautell Stroud are the authors of the final draft of rehabilitation, which aims to restore the original appearance of the building.

Teatros de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Teatro Victoria.

El teatro que nos ocupa es de reciente creación. No posee la historia del teatro Guimerá y por tanto tampoco comparte sus potencialidades. No obstante, la web trata de incentivar la visita mostrándolo en la lista de teatros. La información facilitada en la página se limita a las dimensiones del teatro, las cuales son reducidas y a la localización del mismo (Calle Mendez Nuñez). Por último y a modo de apunte, la web añade que en las mismas instalaciones del teatro se imparten clases de arte.

The theater at hand is of recent creation. It has no as many history as theater Guimerá and therefore does not share its potential. However, the website seeks to encourage the visit shown in the list of theaters. The information provided on this site was limited to the dimensions of the theater, which are small and the location thereof (Mendez Nuñez street). Finally and as a point, the website adds that the same facilities in the theater arts classes.

Teatros de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Teatro Guimerá

La web cita cuatro teatros considerandolos como los más importantes de la capital de provincia. Estos son el teatro Guimerá, el teatro Victoria, el teatro Baudet y en ultima instancia el teatro Perez Minik.

Observamos que la web incide de mayor manera en el Teatro Guimerá que en el resto de teatro citados. Por ello haremos referencia al mismo en primer lugar, no solo por la importancia que le otorga la web, sino por que realmente es un teatro importante merecedor de tal consideración.

Fue construido en uno de los espacios urbanos que pasaron a ser bienes públicos tras la etapa de desamortización. Fue erigido para satisfacer las necesidades de la sociedad burguesa santacrucera del siglo XIX y se instaló en los terrenos del antiguo convento dominico. Los costes corrieron por cuenta del ayuntamiento y de las aportaciones de los vecinos, algunas de ellas bastante cuantiosas.

El proyecto fue realizado por el arquitecto municipal y provincial Manuel de Oraá en 1848. Se trazó como un edificio de dos pisos, de planta rectangular, con forma de herradura en uno de sus lados menores, al igual que en todos los teatros del siglo XIX. La fachada está rematada por un plinto central, con el nombre de Isabel II y el escudo de la ciudad. Fue inaugurado el 25 de julio de 1851.

Ha sufrido un buen número de reformas para adaptarlo a las nuevas necesidades de los espectáculos y representaciones, como, por ejemplo, el aumento de su longitud para ganar espacio en el escenario y en los camerinos.

The website cites four theaters considered most important in the provincial capital. These are Guimerá theater, the Victoria Theater, theater, and ultimately Baudet theater Perez Minik. We note that the website affects the most important theater in the rest Guimerá theater cited.

Therefore we will refer to it in the first place, not only by the importance it attaches the web, but that really is a drama worthy of such an important consideration.

Built in one of the city which became public after the stage of lands. It was built to meet the needs of the bourgeois society of the nineteenth century, there was installed in the grounds of the former Dominican convent. TEA: un avance...

Previemente hemos hecho referencia al TEA, no obstante en la web del ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife no observamos nada relativo a este espacio de reciente creación. Seguramente será por ese detalle dicha carencia de información. Por ese motivo mostramos dos videos referentes a este espacio, que seguramente servirán para conocerlo un poco mejor. En los proximos dias, comentaremos en profundidad este tema.

Previously, we have referred to the TEA, but in the web of the City of Santa Cruz I did not see anything on this newly created space. Surely this will be for the lack of detailed information. For that reason we show two videos on this space which will surely know a little better. In the coming days, will discuss this issue in depth.
